Western Arthur Range 2001

These are images from a skyline traverse of the Western Arthur Range, from Moraine A to Moraine K, with Matt Sherlock and John Harris in March 2001.

We left from Scotts Peak Dam with heavy loads, planning to walk the full length of the Western Arthurs and then on to the Eastern Arthurs and Federation Peak, weather permitting. However an injury forced an early end to the walk at Moraine K.

In 2005 I returned with Andrew Duffield and Bernie Riegler and together we walked the remainder of the route from Moraine K to Federation Peak.
